These two types of batteries each have their own strengths depending on usage so although deciding on which to use could initially seem complicated there is a very basic reason why you may choose one over the other.

All mobility scooter batteries are 12v and tend to be fitted in pairs providing 24v and it is recommended that when changing one you should change the pair.
